Our services are funded through Alta California Regional Center when they're authorized in the person's IPP. Talk with your Service Coordinator about your authorization.

CFSFor adults who live with family. We coordinate services, appointments, benefits and providers to keep the home stable.

SLSFor adults who live in their own home. We support daily living, housing, money, health and community life, with 24-hour emergency help.

Yes. Both services require a referral and authorization from ACRC. If the person isn't connected yet, contact ACRC to apply first.

We respond to every referral within 2 business days, and we're accepting referrals now.

CFSThe assessment starts within 5 to 10 business days of authorization.

SLSServices can usually begin about 2 weeks after the referral is accepted.

SLS pays for the support, not the home. Rent, utilities and food are paid by the person, usually from their own income such as SSI or a paycheck, and sometimes with help from housing assistance programs.

Our staff help with budgeting, finding affordable housing, understanding a lease and applying for housing help.

Yes. Through Coordinated Family Supports, we help families plan for the future, explore living options and get services ready. When your loved one is ready to move, we'll help you talk with your Service Coordinator about Supported Living, and SLS can support the move itself.

Yes. In Supported Living, you interview and choose the staff you work with. In either service, just let us know if you'd like a change.

SLSOur 24-hour on-call team can be reached at any time, day or night.

CFSWe help families build backup plans so a missed provider or sudden change doesn't become a crisis. In an emergency, always call 911 first.

Our team speaks English, Spanish, Arabic, Farsi, Dari, Pashto and Urdu. We match staff to your family's language whenever possible, for both CFS and Supported Living.

We want to hear it, and there's never retaliation for speaking up. Tell any staff member, our Supervisor or our Director, in person or in writing. We'll respond within 5 business days. If it isn't resolved, we'll bring in your Service Coordinator, and you can always contact ACRC or the Office of Clients' Rights Advocacy.

Yes. All staff complete a DOJ background clearance with fingerprinting before working with anyone, and are trained in client rights and mandated reporting. Supported Living staff also hold current CPR and First Aid certification.
